Congratulations
Firstly, congratulations on making the Top 4 in your division and welcome to beach volleyball finals at Shockwave. Whether you are an Open C or an A Grade team this is a real achievement. After 16 weeks of commitment, your team gets to play off for some great prizes.
So now you’re ready to play beach volleyball finals at Shockwave. It’s seriously good fun and a great way to improve your volleyball skills as you play teams that will give your team a challenge.
Dates
The dates of the event are Saturday & Sunday the 29th & 30th of May.
Timings
The timings of the event are TBA, dependent upon the draw. Your competition may run in the day or evening. We will post the draw closer to the event on both Facebook and via our website. Teams must come to the office 15mins before their game starts to register attendance.
Cost
The cost of finals is $12 for the semi-final. There is no charge if you make it to the grand final.
Dress
Feel free to dress as a team or individually. As this is a day event consider a cap and sunscreen. Ensure you bring a water bottle.

The Bowls Club will be open during the following times:
Saturday 10am – 9pm
Sunday 10am – 8:30pm
Little Nyonya Malaysian restaurant for takeaway food is open during the following times:
Saturday 11am – 2:30pm & 5:00pm – 8:00pm
Sunday 11am – 2:30pm & 5:00pm – 8:00pm
Please ensure you are wearing footwear whenever entering the bowls club.
Conduct of the Event
The event centres around the Admin Office. Up to date tournament draws will be posted on the windows. This should replicate the website however, sometimes a team becomes unavailable at the last minute and some juggling of games occurs so that the competition can run.
The Top 4 is determined from each nightly individual competition. For example, if you play 2-A-Side Division B, the teams you will play against are only the teams you have played against during the competition.
We generally play 1 v 4 & 2 v 3. The winner of each game plays off in the final. So depending on your teams success, you will only play 1 or 2 games to find the winner.
Immediately after the Final, teams are to make their way in front of the Admin Office for the presentation to occur. Prizes vary from season to season but you can expect a prize for both the winner and runners up. We will organise a photo with your team for our records, of course anyone is welcome to take a photo of the winning teams.
